This Friday is a First Friday to remember! SOHO Gallery presents painter and photographer David Zlotky and his opening reception of “Looking for America,” 5-9pm.
I’m an artist using photography as my creative medium. People would call what I do “Fine Art Photography” because I create my art to be enjoyed on its own merits rather than as part of a commercial project.
I’ve also been a painter and my work is in several national collections including the Smithsonian’s National Air & Space Museum, the Truman Library and the Air Force Art Collection.
I’ve used my painter’s aesthetic in my photography to produce images that stress strong composition and the play of light. For me, photography is a great medium with which to explore those qualities.
My photographs can be seen and purchased on my website, www.davidzlotkyphotography.com, and in several galleries.
Plaza Glow this Friday evening is all about spreading warmth. Stop by SOHO to drop your donation to local kids this holiday season!
