Menu: Espresso, Caffe Latte (flavors available), Caffe Mocha, Caramel Macchiato, Caffe Americano, Affogato, a variety of scratch cakes, breads, etc.

We are thrilled to introduce Topeka to the Italian dessert, Affogato. You only thought you were an espresso aficionado and ice cream lover before tasting this little number (frozen vanilla bean gelato straight from Italy eclipsed by perfectly pulled espresso shots)…now, life will never be the same!

Soho will be CLOSED Labor Day, but Studio Furniture (our much larger, original store) is holding a major SALE:

Local Jewelry Designer Brings International Inspiration

With myriad materials Kansas City accessory maker, Tabitha Todd, creates jewelry that reflects distant times and far-off peoples. We are so pleased to feature her for the First Friday Art Walk at Soho this week. 5:30-8:30.

She donates an impressive percentage of profits to charities around the world; this is a key force behind her business ideology. Having recently returned from travels in Kenya, she gives us the opportunity to support a women’s fair trade cooperative there by purchasing necklaces made with beautiful Kazuri beads. Local craftsman, Eric Dreyer, will be present tonight at the debut of his newest concrete creation. It fits right in at Soho: good design is line design, and this “seat” is innovative in a most basic form. Sure, we could put a picture up, but that would be like reading the end of a book first. Eric will also have his portfolio documenting the long process of making his work reality. Come check it out! 5:30-8:30ish
