Lois Kruse is Soho’s featured artist for the month of October, beginning with the First Friday Art Walk. Lois has created hundreds of photographic images since taking her first photography class in the early 90’s at Washburn University. “I never get tired of watching an image emerge in developer, it still seems like magic to me! I love the tactile process of developing film and recreating an image on photographic paper.” Working primarily in black & white and specializing in hand coloring, Lois will demonstrate this technique in addition to unveiling her latest work in lithograph.
