Modern Sunburst wall mirror on glazed wall hangs between two brass lamps with grey linen shades by Robert Abbey.

SohoInteriors Inspires at Topeka’s 2017 Designer Showhouse

Designers Vickie Lynch and Angie Varney are pleased to celebrate 50 years of Studio Furniture and Soho Interiors by participating in the Designer Showhouse, a fundraiser benefiting Childcare Aware of Eastern Kansas.  Extensive work in the dining room, centered in the heart of the home, resulted in an atmosphere of rich vibrance and artistic modernity in both simplistic line design and opulent detail.  We hope you visit this gem of a home near our shop, one of the first constructed in the Westboro neighborhood in the 1920’s.  Tickets available at Soho.

Featuring John Kudlacek

This spring we are inspired by the work of John Kudlacek. We will continue to feature his photography & ceramics through May. John began a 33 year teaching career at Emporia State University, retiring Professor Emeritus in 1996. After almost forty years with his hands in clay his focus is now on other pursuits, including photography. Take a stroll through beautiful Westboro Mart and stop in to breathe in the art of John Kudlacek.
