Printmaking has found Alex Olson and we are pleased to find her. Our February exhibit will feature printmaking by a brilliant artist who is passionate and driven by the printmaking process. You must see her works inspired from natural patterns, shapes, and forms which has led her to explore the differences between feminine and masculine qualities realizing that there is a balance of all natural things.

First Friday 07 November – Soho is pleased to showcase the oil landscapes and enhanced giclee prints (various media) of master artist Julie Bentzen Tilton.
Up-close or far-off, Julie Bentzen Tilton’s oil paintings have lifted the landscape of Soho Interiors. Her most recent “Flint Hills” oil is also on display.
Julie received her Master of Fine Arts degree from Wichita State University and studied with William and Betty Dickerson at the Wichita Institute for the Arts. She has taught at colleges and private institutions throughout her career.
October Market Sneak Peak: Shapes emphasized, transforming the traditional wing chair. Also making a nod to mid-century modern form is the Lazy Chair and the Sextans Floor Lamp by Calligaris.
Melissa Bitter, artist, is on exhibit at Soho with her photography and greeting card line.
She earned her photography degree from the College of DuPage in Illinois and now lives in Topeka. Her work has been featured in catalogs, literature and marketing materials.
Her intimate close-ups of nature’s wonders are sure to touch your heart as she shares what makes her happiest with you.
The First Friday art walk is October 3rd from 5:30 – 8:30pm.
She will speak at 7pm.
Vintage Temple Rubbings and Rarities of Thailand, Indonesia, Laos, and more by collector and humanitarian, Larry Woodson,will be featured at the First Friday Art Walk.
